I have an infatuation with words, fonts, old boards, and truth. Put them all together, and it is nothing short of bliss.
This first plaque featured is one that I found at a gift shop. The moment my eyes saw it, I knew I had to buy it because these two simple words mean so much.
To me, they mean:
It is never too late to start.
Stop thinking about it and just begin. Today.
If you blew it yesterday, well then, begin today! It is a fresh start.
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I need this reminder.
To start doing sit-ups
To be kinder with my words in moments where I am frustrated, stressed, or irritated.
To pray more and worry less
To tackle the ever-growing to-do list
Are these words are motivating to you as they are to me? If so, what will you begin today? What is it that you continue to think about doing that sits at the front of your mind without any action to back it? You can be sure of one thing: usually the amount energy spent thinking about starting something is far worse than just simply starting it.
Just one thing. One.
It is easy to get overwhelmed when we try to start multiple things. Today, begin one thing.
